SFUSD will hold the African American Reach Higher: College Signing Day to celebrate African American students who have made plans to attend college or professional training program next year.

Six San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD) schools have been named California Distinguished Schools: John Y. Chin Elementary, Lawton K-8, Claire Lilienthal K-8, Peabody Elementary, Sloat Elementary and Ulloa Elementary.

The San Francisco Board of Education on Tuesday approved the $73.7 million Public Education Enrichment Fund (PEEF) Expenditure Plan Proposal, which allocates voter-approved funds for sports, libraries, arts, music and other programs in the city's public schools.
