Welcome to the Mission High School World Languages Department.
Our bilingual team offers courses in Spanish and Spanish Native. We plan to bring back Arabic in 26-27
The Spanish courses provide rigorous engagement in both linguistic skills and cultural knowledge to guide students to become global citizens.
Our program emphasizes the communicative skills of the language: listening, reading, writing, speaking, and translating.
We believe that exposure to a second language challenges the students to reflect on themselves in relation to our global society, broadens their social skills and helps them to develop a better understanding of the world they live in.
