SFUSD Student Family School Resource Link
The SFUSD Student Family School Resource Link is a cross-departmental project to support students, families, and school staff in navigating all of the SFUSD resources available to them.
How can I access the Student Family School Resource Link?
Students, families, and school staff can access the Student and Family Resource Link in two ways:
*Hours of operation for the phone will be Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 3 p.m. (closed from 12 to 1 p.m. every day). Phones will be closed on school holidays, including the fall, winter and spring breaks. Callers can still leave a voicemail or send an email or request form at all hours.
What topics will the Student Family School Resource Link cover?
Content experts from district departments will respond to a variety of questions including but not limited to:
- return to in-person learning
- student enrollment
- special education
- food & nutrition
- physical & mental wellness
In addition, SFUSD staff members can reach the Nurse of the Day using the Student Family School Resource Link.
If I need help in another language other than English, will interpretation be available?
Multilingual content experts or the Translation and Interpretation Unit (TIU) will provide language access as needed. Language assistance is available in Arabic, Cantonese, Mandarin, Filipino, Spanish and Vietnamese. If interpretation needs to be arranged with TIU, more time may be needed to schedule an appointment.
If I call, will I reach a live person?
You may reach a live person, or you may need to leave a voicemail depending on the number of incoming calls. If you leave a voicemail, our goal will be to respond to your call within 48 hours.
If I have three different questions, will I be able to get a response to all three questions at one time?
Depending on the questions, content experts may be able to respond immediately. However, if the content expert does not have the information, they will look into your request and follow up with more information.
