PTA UPDATE -

There are great ways to become active at Junipero Serra! Giving a little helps a lot, whether with your time or your wallet. You can make a contribution in the form of a donation or volunteering your valuable time. Every little bit helps!

For donating items such as tissues, hand-wipes, rugs, etc. that are needed by teachers, check out the GIVING TREE, located at the top of the stairs outside of Ms. Cheung’s office. Teachers have filled out request forms that are in the shape of leaves and the leaves are stuck to the tree. Instructions for how to complete the request are posted next to the tree.

For parent involvement ideas such as volunteering your time to drop and roll and lunchtime/ recess monitor, check out the cute OWLS posted outside the main office on a bulletin board. The owls have volunteering or participation ideas written on them. For questions about how to volunteer, speak with Lucia Santis Romero , santisl@sfusd.edu) . Before volunteering, come to the main office to sign the Volunteer Sign-in Sheet.

If you have ideas for volunteering, fundraisers or ways to help the school, or questions for the PTA, write it on a piece of paper and add it to the Suggestion Box in the main office. It can be written in Spanish or English and will be read and attended to by the PTA Communications Officer.
