Care Options at McCoppin

After School Programs

McCoppin hosts three after school programs that cater to our diverse community.

We want families to make informed decisions that best meet their needs. We hope this provides some clarification:

The Richmond Neighborhood Center (TRNC)

Out of School Time Program (OST)

VillageSports Enrichment Program

Program operates Mondays-Fridays

Full time enrollment – 5 days per week

1 sport - once a week

2 sports - 2x a week

3 sports - 3x a week

4 sports - 4x a week

5 sports - full week of different sports



 

Sliding scale, families pay $0 - $500 / month (no deposit)

Sliding scale, families pay $0 - $625 / month
(No deposit needed for subsidized families)

Price: $160-245

Scholarships: Once 10 kids are confirmed we allow 2 scholarships, if 15 kids are confirmed we allow 3 scholarships. Once 20 kids are confirmed we allow 4 scholarships. 

Morning care is offered on campus by TRNC, 7:30-9:15 daily. After School care is offered daily 3:45 PM - 6:30 PM (2:30 - 6:30pm on Wednesdays).

Year Round Program

School day hours :

3:45 - 6:00pm (M/T/TH/F)

2:30 – 6:00pm (Wed)

Spring Break & Summer hours : 8:00am – 6:00pm

6-8 weeks long and restarts as soon as the 6-8 weeks are over.

(M/T/TH/F) 3:45-5:00

(Wednesday) 2:30-5:00

Supper provided by SFUSD meal program

Free meals provided by SFUSD Student Nutrition Services

Please have your child bring after-school snacks

Homework assistance

Enrichment activities, academic support / homework assistance

Technical, functional and holistic sport programs, coached by high level college athletes from San Francisco State University.

Enrichment programming includes outdoor activities, multicultural children's arts, wellness (Sports), STEAM, Social Emotional Learning, gardening, and language classes depending on staffing. 

Enrichment activities include drama, world dance, physical fitness, sports, visual art , gardening.

Soccer, Basketball, Baseball, Tennis, Volleyball, Cross Country/Track, Golf, Ultimate Frisbee, Cheer. (Minimum number of students required for each sport session to run.) Most sports offer Beginner and Advanced levels.
