  2. Create a login: This will allow applicants to start, save, and submit their application.

uCreate Rising Creators Program

uCreate Rising Creators Program APPLY HERE

uCreate's Rising Creators program will consist of in-person workshops for youth to learn and apply their business knowledge in their creativity. Students will participate in various games, simulations, projects and mini-competitions to understand fundamental business basics all while incorporating art as well.

SF Recreation & Parks

Priority Registration Monday, March 10 @ 10am  (approved scholarships)

General Registration opens on Saturday, March 15 10am

SF Recreation & Parks offers scholarships for students with financial need.  Visit the  SFRP scholarship page for more information. Takes about a week for approval so please apply ASAP to be eligible for priority registration


 

Therapeutic Recreation and Inclusion Services

 

Therapeutic Recreation (TR) programs usually provide staff at a higher staff to participant ratio, who are also trained to work with children with disabilities, as well as a well-structured, specialized curricula, designed to help participants achieve social, physical, and life-skill goals. Everybody Plays, Teen City, Teen Social Club and our ACCESS Fitness class are examples of TR programs.

Aim High is designed for current 5th – 8th middle school students who have limited access to summer enrichment. Our no-cost summer program ignites a love of learning and prepares students for success in middle school, high school, and beyond.

Opportunities for All

Opportunities for All (OFA) provides access to career exploration and workforce development for San Francisco’s youth and young adults. The initiative includes paid internships, mentorship, and pathways to employment, including job readiness, career training, and apprenticeship for participants ages 13 to 24.

Boys and Girls Club of San Francisco

 

The Boys and Girls Club of San Francisco  offers high quality daytime summer services for youth that are accessible and affordable. No child is ever turned away for lack of financial resources. Our consistent schedule over the summer (open all five weekdays) helps youth stay engaged with educational activities and avoid summer learning loss. Through our summer offerings, our Clubs fill summer days for San Francisco youth with fun and academically stimulating experiences to ensure that kids continue to learn through play.

SFArtsED Summer Camps

 

  • SFArtsED summers are magical times, as children ages 6-14 immerse themselves in the arts—collaborating with many of the same extraordinary artists who teach in our residence programs in the public schools, and in our Players musical theater company.

Urban Trailblazers (UTB) is a youth leadership program designed for middle school-age youth that welcomes culturally and economically diverse students from San Francisco public schools to experience their national parks. Students can earn a  stipend for participating.  CLICK HERE for more information & to apply.

Summer Bridge is a five-week, in-person summer program designed to assist students with a smooth transition from middle to high school. Not only will students jump-start their high school education by earning 5 high school elective credits, but they will also earn an educational award .

GIRLFLY

 

Summer Art & Activism Program

 

Summer Opportunity: GIRLFLY The 2026 Summer Arts & Activism Project will bring 20 young women/GNC youth from San Francisco for four weeks to:

  • Make site specific & off the ground dances with professional choreographers
  • Earn $550
  • Create and perform your own original dances
  • Uplift community voices who have manifested or are working to manifest real ownership on the city’s streets.
  • Create a visual arts project led Adrian Arias
  • Connect with young women/GNC youth across neighborhoods, schools, ethnicity, sexual orientation and gender identity
  • Ages 14-21

2026 Application (Due May 15, 2026)

Summer Stride is the Library’s annual summer learning, reading and exploration program for all ages and abilities. 

From June through August, we promote: 

  • Author talks, reading lists and book giveaways 
  • STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) learning 
  • Exploration of nature 
  • Workforce development opportunities for teens 
  • Meaningful connections for all ages within our diverse community
