Finding Good Sources & Great Books
Visit your library online by going to: asflibrary.com
Click on the links on the website or on those below to access the Library's Catalog and Subscription Databases (if you're offsite, check out the password list at bottom):
ProQuest eLibrary (search seven different databases at once!)
Britannica Online (like Wikipedia, but you can cite it!)
SIRS Issue Researcher (good tool for finding "pro vs con" information!)
- CultureGrams (information about countries and the people who live in them!)
2021-22 : Usernames & Passwords for Off-Site Access (use your @s.sfusd.edu account to access this list!)
If you need to print an assignment, the library can help.
The library has two Brother HL-6200DW printers for student use.
To print, either:
- Come by the library and print wirelessly from your iOS device or laptop; or
- Email to or share a document with firstname.lastname@example.org and be sure to put your printing instructions (e.g., single-sided vs double-sided, by which period it's needed, etc.) in the body of the email.
Phone Chargers & Chromebooks
Did you forget your charger?
The library has a bank of fast-chargers for both iPhones and Androids. Come drop off your device for a few minutes or a few hours, and we'll charge it up while keeping it secure.
Do you need to use a Chromebook?
The library has approximately 35 Chromebooks that students can check out and use while in the library.
Ask Mr. Melton for more details.
