Welcome to Marina Middle School's Community Schools Hub
At Marina Middle School, we believe students thrive when schools, families, and community partners work together. Through the California Community Schools Partnership Program (CCSPP), we are building a school where every student is loved, challenged, and equipped to become a compassionate global leader.
Our Community School approach extends beyond academics. We focus on student well-being, family partnership, belonging, leadership, and equitable access to opportunities so every student has the support they need to succeed. Guided by the voices of our students, families, staff, and community partners, we continuously evaluate our progress and adapt our work to meet the evolving needs of our school community.
This page serves as our public hub for Community School information. Here you will find our Community School Implementation Plan, Annual Performance Reports, Needs & Assets Assessment, meeting materials, and other resources that document our goals, progress, and ongoing learning. We invite you to explore our work, celebrate our successes, and partner with us as we continue building a school community where every student belongs and can thrive.

Implementation Plan
The Community School Implementation Plan is Marina Middle School's multi-year roadmap for implementing the California Community Schools Partnership Program (CCSPP). The plan was developed through a comprehensive Needs & Assets Assessment, incorporating input from students, families, staff, and community partners, along with analysis of academic, attendance, school climate, and engagement data. Priorities and strategies were refined through collaboration with school leadership teams and educational partners before being reviewed, discussed, and formally approved by the School Site Council (SSC)
