Afterschool at Marina
Marina Middle School's Beacon Center Afterschool Program offers approximately 15 different club activities per year. Students can choose from a rotating schedule of engaging activities that range from sports, photography, cooking to dance and youth leadership and service learning. The program also includes a Homework Time.
SFUSD afterschool programs ensure involvement of teachers from students' schools to make sure that afterschool academics are aligned with the school day curriculum.
A day in the life of Afterschool
Every wonder what a day in the life of afterschool looks like? At Marina the Beacon Center Program brings fun, learning, growth and their own special brand of goofyness.
Afterschool Program: UPDATE
The Y is dedicated to providing space for youth to be safe, engaged, and supported. With that unwavering commitment, the Y is looking ahead to next school year. The YMCA of San Francisco is committed to adapting programs to meet emerging public health guidelines; therefore we are delaying formal registration until more information is available.
Though the Y's programs may look different next school year, they will always be a place for students to be safe, engaged, and pillared by the Y's core values of respect, responsibility, honesty, and caring.
