Introduction

Our TK program is designed to bridge the preschool learning environment with that of the traditional kindergarten classroom. It is taught by multiple subject credentialed teachers who blend preschool and kindergarten instructional practices in order to meet the individual needs of each child.

TK instructional day : 8:00am - 2:15pm (Early Dismissal on Wednesday 8:00am - 1:00pm)

Pre-K instructional day : 8:00am - 6:00pm

Out-of-School Time (school-age) Program 2:00pm - 6:00 / full day in summer

Before School
We provide Before School Program for Lawton ES students from 8:00am - 9:15am. Breakfast is served.
School bus picks up students and drop them off at Lawton ES.
After School
Our Out-of-School Time (OST) Program provides after-school services to TK - 4th grade students from 2:00pm - 6:00pm. Enrichment classes are held after school hours with full day sessions available during Spring and Summer breaks from 8:00am - 6:00pm. The feeder schools are Francis Scott Key ES, Sunset ES, and Lawton ES.
Meals : PM snack (on school days) / breakfast, lunch, & PM snack (in full day service).

SFUSD annually surveys families and school staff on a range of school climate indicators that have been found to predict positive student academic achievement. The social-emotional learning of students in grades 4-12 is also assessed.
