English Learners Advisory Committee (ELAC) Link to this section

The ELAC is a committee at Sanchez that helps families whose kids are learning English. They meet with the principal to learn about and discuss topics specifically important to families of students learning English as a second language. The ELAC regularly reviews the progress of English learners at Sanchez and gives families a voice to say what kind of programs and help they need to grow.  That way, everyone can succeed at Sanchez!

Parent Teacher Association (PTA) Link to this section

The PTA, or Parent-Teacher Association, is a group where parents, teachers, and members of the community come together to help make Sanchez better. We meet five times throughout the year in the school Library.

At meetings, we talk about things like upcoming events, how to volunteer, ways to raise money, and new ideas to help Sanchez grow. Anyone can come to the meetings, but only members can vote. Join the PTA!
