Welcome to the Wellness Center!
Welcome to the Civic Center Secondary School Wellness Center!
Wellness Centers exist at all SFUSD high schools. They exist to support students and their families manage health and wellness with a range of services related to (mostly) physical and mental health.
The Wellness Center at CCSS is your space, meaning you can come here whenever you need a short break from class. You can come here to talk with a Wellness team member, or you can come here and be left alone -- it's up to you.

Maurice Harper, Mindfullness Practices
I am a mindfulness coach. Which means I work with students and staff to improve their mindful skills. These skills allow students and staff to function better in the world. It helps manage stress and trauma. It helps with making decisions and allowing us to stop and create mindful pause before responding. We can not control life but we can improve how we respond. I look forward to working with staff and students. “I am not successful, until you are successful"

OTTP
The OTTP program offers group and individual based mental health occupational therapy services focused on increasing self-awareness, group readiness, and building on student and staff strengths and interests to bridge connections in the community.
