Jefferson ES Fall 2017 After-School Enrichment Classes

Here is general information about the classes in English and Chinese.

Here are the fliers and application forms for Tree Frog Treks (sorry, full!), Cartooning (corrected fee; choose Tuesday or Wednesday), Piano, Tinkering (girls Tuesday, boys Friday), Chess, French, Soccer (as of 9/5, Wednesday has 5 spots, Thursday is full, Friday has 1 spot), and Girls on the Run.

Be aware that Tinkering and French have online signups.  For Soccer, please email sffcsocceracademy@gmail.com ASAP to see if a spot is still available.  For all other classes, please turn in the application forms with full payment by check to the Main Office as soon as possible, since some classes always fill up.  Your application is not considered complete without full payment accompanying the application. The application deadline is Friday, September 8.

You will find out if your child is enrolled in a class by letter enclosed in the Wednesday Envelope.  If the class you applied for is full, your uncashed check will be returned to you.

If your child is enrolled in a class, please check the relevant flier to see the schedule, as some classes may skip a week or finish a week earlier or later than the others.

All teachers, the Main Office, and the after-school childcare program are given a list of students who are enrolled in enrichment classes. When the school day ends, enrichment program staff members collect kindergartners from the K Yard and collect students in grades 1 through 5 from the yard just outside the Main Office.  After class, enrichment program staffers walk the students who participate in after-school childcare to aftercare and ensure that all other students are picked up by parents or other authorized adults.
