Math can feel challenging sometimes, and that’s okay—that’s how learning works. Every time you try a problem, even if you don’t get it right at first, your brain is growing stronger. In this school, effort matters more than speed, and mistakes are a normal part of learning. With practice, patience, and a positive attitude, you can build confidence and skills that will help you not just in math, but in everyday life. Believe in yourself, keep trying, and remember: you are capable of more than you think.
Math Foundation and Sequencing Link to this section
In middle school all students will take math classes that include algebra in every grade level, with increased depth as the grades progress. The courses are called CCSS Math 6, 7, and 8. This new course sequence ensures a solid foundation that prepares students for college mathematics.
