SFPL To Go
San Francisco Public Library’s version of “curbside pickup”, we are providing a contact-free front door type service where patrons can queue up outside our buildings to pick up their requested books at the library entrance.
- Place a hold on the books you want using sfpl.org
- SFPL will contact you when they are ready
- Pick up at selected location

I can't find my barcode number. Where is it?
Your SFPL barcode number is located on the back of the library card and was emailed to each student in September (see this video).
If you are having trouble finding it, you can email info@sfpl.org and request it. The email will need to be sent from your students email account.
If you joined our school district after September 1, 2020, you can request a Scholar Card by filling out this form.
What is my pin/password?
If you don't know your pin try the following combinations:
- Student's date of birth in numerical form (mmdd). For example: May 12, would be 0512
- Student's birth year
