Programming

Our YMCA Before and After School programs foster each child’s cognitive, social-emotional and physical development through opportunities and experiences which focus on achievement, relationships and belonging. There is space for every family that needs it. In our after-care programs, which are divided by age group, we offer enrichment activities such as cooking, business, and art that rotate every six weeks. Our regular programming includes outdoor playtime at Eureka Valley Rec, crafting, homework help, STEAM activities, water play on warm weather days and more! Our before-care programming offers much of the above in addition to Spanish 3 days/week.

Families can choose from 2, 3, or 5 days a week.

Hours

Before-school care:  7:30-9:30am

After-school care: 3:45-6:45pm

Wednesday early release: 2:30-6:45pm

How to Enroll

  1. Create a portal on community.ymcasf.org with guardian, student, and emergency contact info.
  2. Download and complete the paper application. All fields must be filled in (mark N/A if something doesn’t apply). The photo release is optional.
  3. Submit your application in person to Tiffany Andrade at 4235 19th Street (HMCRA)
  4. Pay $50 non-refundable deposit
  5. Await enrollment confirmation from site leadership

Financial Aid Available: The YMCA offers fully subsidized spots for qualifying families and financial aid options are available for families that do not qualify for 100% subsidy coverage. Please reach out to Tiffany Andrade at TAndrade@ymcasf.org or 650-489-6039 for more information.
