An outdoor wide shot shows a colorful mosaic mural on the exterior wall of Grattan School in San Francisco. The mural features vibrant tilework depicting orange flowers, yellow butterflies, and a red bird against a blue background. The words "GRATTAN SCHOOL" are displayed in white capital letters within the mosaic. In the foreground, two tall, purple and white flower stalks are slightly out of focus, framing the view of the school's entrance. Photo Credit: Anna Connors / S.F. Chronicle

Fundraising

Invest in Our Village: The Grattan Annual Campaign

Did you know that your contributions are the reason every classroom enjoys a brand-new library? From our Math Coach and dedicated Art support to the magic of Doris the Storyteller and Rebecca our Garden Teacher, some of the most cherished parts of the Grattan experience are funded directly by you.

The Annual Campaign is our single most important fundraising effort, providing 85% of the PTA’s total budget. Whether you can give a little or a lot, every gift ensures we can continue to provide technology support, professional development for our teachers, and vital classroom supplies.

How to Give

We’ve made it easy to support our students with five simple ways to donate:

  • Give instantly via Omella, Venmo (@GrattanPTA), or Zelle (grattanptafunds@gmail.com).
  • Credit Card or Monthly Giving: Use PayPal to make a one-time gift or set up a recurring monthly donation—a great way to budget your support throughout the year!
  • Check: Make checks payable to Grattan PTA (memo: "Annual Campaign"). You can mail them in the provided self-addressed envelope or drop them in the Annual Campaign box in the school office.
  • Corporate Matching: Many companies will double your impact! Check with your HR department to see if they match donations to 501(c)(3) organizations.

Questions? Reach out to our Annual Campaign Team. Every dollar stays right here at Grattan to help our children thrive!

  • Sponsorships: Increase your brand’s reach by sponsoring signature events like Fun Fest or the Halloween Carnival and receive recognition across our newsletter & social channels!
  • Professional Expertise: Do you have a specialized skill? We welcome professionals who can lead after-school clubs, offer pro-bono consulting for school committees, or provide guest workshops for our students.
  • Grant & Matching Programs: If you work for a company that offers community grants or matches employee donations, please help us navigate the application process to maximize support for our math and reading coaches.

How to Sync Konstella with your Calendar

Here’s how to sync the Konstella calendar with your personal calendar to keep all your important school dates in one place:

  1. Go to the Calendar: Open the Konstella website or mobile app. Look for "Calendar" at the top of the screen or in the main menu.
  2. Find "Sync": On the calendar page, look for a "Sync" or "Sync to My Calendar" button or link. It's usually in the top right corner or clearly visible.
  3. Choose Your Calendar: You'll likely see options to sync with different personal calendars like Google Calendar, iPhone Calendar, or Microsoft Outlook. Click on the one you use.
  4. Follow On-Screen Steps: Konstella will then guide you through a few simple steps to connect to your chosen calendar. You might need to confirm the connection in a pop-up window.
  5. Allow Time to Sync: Once connected, give it a few minutes. School events from Konstella should then appear on your personal calendar.
