The January Missing Children Monthly Poster from the California Attorney General's office is ready for review. Information about missing children will continue to be shared during distance learning. This will ensure SFUSD is in compliance with the State Mandated Cost Program Health and Safety section regarding Missing Children. If you have any questions please email jamesm@sfusd.edu.

Ready, Set, RISE! is a series of e-learning modules that inspire transformational learning experiences for students and educators by reinforcing the foundational importance of human connection and empathy in schools.

All COVID-19 Safety Protocol modules and quizzes are no longer available in Google Classrooms. The updated COVID-19 Safety Protocol trainings will be available through a BRIT platform. A link to the trainings will be emailed directly to all District staff when they become available, starting in January 2021.

The District Assessment Window 2 for High Schools (Grades 9 & 10) to administer the Reading Inventory is: January 5 - January 29.

UESF-represented staff (teachers, paraeducators, counselors, social workers, security aides, etc.) continue to receive 18 PAID PD HOURS this school year. These hours are only paid when used. Please support educators at your site/department to utilize their hours toward site PD priorities.

One of the biggest challenges of distance learning is how to engage all students in the virtual learning environment, and perhaps even more so for our emergent language learners.

For several years, the Multilingual Pathways Department has administered an assessment to 8th graders enrolled in world language and immersion classes and, additionally,  to students who have language background of Chinese or Spanish, but who are not studying Chinese or Spanish in SFUSD.
