Williams Instructional Materials Hearing Notice

A public hearing will be held on Oct. 6 at 3 p.m. as part of the San Francisco Unified School District’s regular Board of Education meeting to determine the sufficiency of textbooks or instructional materials as required by California Education Code Section 60119. The Board encourages participation by parents, teachers, interested community members, and bargaining unit leaders. The Board of Education meetings page will be updated with a detailed agenda and information on how to participate virtually for the Oct. 6 Board meeting.

Get Involved

Find opportunities to get more involved with your school or with the district as a whole.
  1. Join your school's School Site Council to help set your school's priorities and budget.
  2. Attend Board of Education meetings in person or online.
  3. Join a family organization such as the Parent Advisory Council, English Learner Advisory Committee or the African American Parent Advisory Committee. Find other advisory councils and committees.
