SFUSD Administrators:

You are responsible for supporting classified and certificated educators at your site/department to understand and utilize the 18 Paid PD Hours and the Paraeducator Contractual 7 Hour PD Day.

Please ensure you read the Guidance documents linked so you can support and answer questions for all educators at your site/dept.

All SFUSD paraeducators are invited to attend Digital District Day (August 9) and the SFUSD Paraeducator Institute (August 10-13). You are responsible for reaching out to all paraeducators by Monday, August 2nd to ensure they know about and have registered for the institutes, and to determine which paras are interested in attending site PD versus central PD and to make individual plans with each paraeducator choosing to attend site-based PD. Administrators are responsible for supporting each paraeducator to make a plan for how to best utilize the hours within the week and in alignment with each paraeducator’s scheduling needs.
