Summary
On Friday, September 17, 2021 starting at 11pm, the Department of Technology (DoT) will be performing critical network upgrades in order to prevent future, unplanned outages.
Announcement Message
All Internet access into and from SFUSD’s network, including district-provided student hotspots, will be temporarily offline for 3 hours between 11pm on Friday, September 17th and 2am on Saturday, September 18th.
All internal SFUSD systems will be offline during this maintenance window including but not limited to Synergy (TeacherVUE, ParentVUE, StudentVUE), PeopleSoft, PERCii, GoFast, Primero, Zendesk, and district-issued hotspots used by students.
These and other cloud-hosted systems will NOT be impacted:
- SFUSD’s main website www.sfusd.edu
- Gmail and Google Apps
- Clever and SFUSD’s Digital Backpack
- EmpowerSF
If you encounter any network or system/application access issues after 2 am on September 18, 2021, please submit a Technology Service Request at help.sfusd.edu so we can investigate and resolve.
