Summary
SFUSD is eligible to receive federal funding through the Emergency Connectivity Fund (ECF) for student Chromebooks and wireless connectivity. In order to receive funding and to determine unmet need, SFUSD needs families/guardians to answer a two-question survey in ParentVue. This survey will certify that their student(s) has or needs an SFUSD Chromebook or Hotspot in order to complete assignments from home.
Announcement Message
SFUSD is eligible to receive federal funding through the Emergency Connectivity Fund (ECF). This funding will be used to purchase additional student technology to help close the Homework Gap for students who currently lack necessary Internet access or the devices they need to connect to classrooms.
SFUSD needs Parents/Guardians of any student(s) who requires an SFUSD Chromebook or Hotspot to access and complete school work from home to complete the district’s survey. The survey can be accessed by logging into their ParentVue account starting October 20, 2021.
