ParentVUE Activation
Help families to activate their accounts. Run the U-FP10 report in Synergy to see who has not activated their accounts yet. Parents/guardians only have to activate once, and some might forget they already have an account - remind families they can reset their password.

SchoolMessenger and Synergy Mass Email
Site administrators (principals, assistant principals, counselors, and clerks) can send mass emails to students and/or families through one of the following ways:
- Synergy: Enter “Mass Email” on your Quick Launch and follow the steps on ParentVUE Toolkit to learn how. If you are unable to access the screen, please open a Help Desk ticket.
- SchoolMessenger: Principals and APs have access, and principals must request access for their designees to SchoolMessenger and follow the step-by-step guides on how to send messages.
Note that both systems use the contact information the parent/guardian has saved in Synergy through staff updates or through ParentVUE. Encourage families to update their contact information in ParentVUE to ensure they receive district and school communications. For questions please contact us via help.sfusd.edu.
