We are one month into the enrollment season for 2023-24, and we are hoping to have 100% of transition-grade applications completed by Feb. 3, 2022. As you know, completing the application on time gives students the best chance of being assigned to a school that’s high on their list of choices—in fact, 57% of students who apply on time get their first choice, and 88% receive one of their choices. These numbers are higher for current SFUSD students because of tiebreakers like Middle School Feeder or Pre-K. Please help your transition grade students get assigned to their choice schools! Here are two things you can do:

• Take a look at the percent of transition-grade students at your school who have applied already. You can re-run this list in Synergy using EPC-022 anytime you like—reach out to your cohort counselor if you need help.
• On Monday Nov. 28, your principal received an email from EPC with the list of transition-grade students at your school who have not already applied, along with contact information for their families. Please reach out to these families and help them complete the application. If you need paper applications or enrollment guides, please fill out this simple form.
