Thank you, thank you for your wonderful work to help students accept or decline their assignments! This year, about 96% of kids responded to their assignments, and 82% of transitional students accepted those assignments! This is an uptick from last year, which we’re really excited about. Great job 🙂
Every year, before EPC “drops” students who declined, or who did not respond to, their assignments, we send each school a “Drop List” to check that we’re not dropping anyone who wants their assignments. You’ll get a list of all students who are leaving your school, and all students who are coming to your school, and if you know a family meant to accept but EPC is planning to drop them, you’ll fill out a quick form to let us know, and that family will get to keep their assignment. This should be a quick process of scanning the list and checking for errors.
We’ll send each school their list on April 28, and we’re asking you to fill out the form for any mistaken “drop” students by May 5.
(Why does EPC “drop” students? We want to remove students not coming to your school from your roster so we can assign you more students in Round 2.)
