Marina Beacon Afterschool Program

Afterschool is from 4:05-6:40 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, and 2:15-6:40 on Wednesdays. The afterschool schedule is as follows:

415-420: Community Time & Transitions
420-520: Zenith Hour
525-620: Horizon Hour
620-640: Closing

215-230: Snack
230-4: Zenith Hour
4-520: Horizon Hour
525-620: Wacky Hour
620-640: Closing

Afterschool Payments

Enrollment: 

You can enroll your student using this link - https://community.ymcasf.org/s/registration

  1. Create a YMCA account and log in. Search “Presidio” in the search bar then select Presidio - Marina MS ASP - School Year 2025-26
  2. Choose from $65/month or $0/month for Free/Reduced Lunch. Families must email the   "Multipurpose Family Income Form (MFIF)" confirmation letter to marinabeacon@ymcasf.org to qualify for the $0 Free/Reduced Lunch. 

  3.  Payments can be made online through your YMCA portal or in person at any YMCA branch. We cannot collect payments at Marina Middle School

  1. What are the hours of the Afterschool Program?
    1. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday- 4:00-6:40pm & Wednesday’s 2:15-6:40pm
  2. How much does the Afterschool Program Cost?
    1.  It costs $55 dollars a month or $0 dollars a month with the Free/Reduced Lunch qualifying letter from SFUSD.
  3. Where can I make payments?

    1. Online through your YMCA portal or in person at any YMCA branch. We cannot collect payments at Marina Middle School

  4. What if my child/student doesn't attend everyday?

    1. That's ok! Your child/student can attend any days that they need to. No need to let us know if they cannot make one day. 

  5. Is there a waitlist?

    1. At this time we do not have a waitlist. Any student is welcome to enroll and join the following day!
  6. How do I enroll my students?
    1. Pick up an application during the school day in Room 140 or afterschool in the small cafeteria.
