Instrumental Music with Mr. G

Thursdays - Grades 4-5

Instrumental music students learn their technique both aurally and with note reading. We perform for each other in circles using call and response with the goal of pentatonic improvisation in major and minor, in swing and straight time. Since music is a universal language, it naturally lends itself to a multicultural world curriculum giving the students insights into the feelings and beliefs of differing cultures. We look forward to seeing you at our presentation of this year's work in spring 2023.
