Greetings Families,
Welcome back to school after the Labor Day Weekend. We have two big events this week that we want you to be aware of. The first is Virtual Back To School Nights on Wednesday (Pre-K-2) and Thursday (3-5). Both evenings begin at 6 PM with a 10-minute welcome from Mr. Berger, PTA Board Members, and the ELAC President. Then, everyone will log off and then log into their child's grade-level zoom meeting presentations. The links to all the meetings will be on the front page of the Lafayette website. Please use your child's school account when logging in.
In addition, we are asking you to come to school to pick up your child's supplies sac. In it will be important workbooks and notebooks and school supplies, depending on grade-level. Family members of English Learners should come this Thursday from 12 - 5 and family members of English Learners and ALL OTHER students should come on Friday from 9-5. Those who are not able to come this week will have opportunities to do so next week. Please enter the building on Anza Street and find your child's sac by grade-level in the hallway. Everyone needs to wear a mask and follow social distance regulations.
