Special Education

Sherman Elementary values inclusion and equity in its Special Education programming. We offer three autism-focused special day classes (SDC) for students in grades TK-K, 1-2, and 3-5, with an emphasis on mainstreaming when appropriate. We partner with a variety of arts organizations to provide students access to the arts, including the San Francisco Symphony AIMS program, the San Francisco Ballet, SF ARTs Program, SFUSD's Visual and Performing Arts Program (for visual art and instrumental music), Hip-Hop dance classes, and lunchtime dance clubs.
