Hello SFUSD Colleagues,

The Department of Technology will be upgrading a core security component in SFUSD’s Data Center on Friday, September 27, 2024, from 7:00 PM until 11:00 PM. This is part of our comprehensive approach to improve network performance outside of peak times and ensure better and more secure service for all users.

While we do not anticipate any interruption to network service during this time frame, we are alerting all staff out of an abundance of caution in case the unlikely occurs. In the event of network instability or a full network outage, we will restore services as quickly as possible. 

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to enhance SFUSD’s network capabilities. If you encounter any network related issues after 11pm on Friday, September 27th, please contact the SFUSD Help Desk or submit a ticket via help.sfusd.edu.
