The Multilingual Pathways (MPD), Special Education, and Research, Planning, and Assessment (RPA) departments invite SpEd case managers, site leaders, and ML coordinators to a workshop about reclassification for dually identified English Learners with IEPs.

Workshop Dates (Times Updated):

  • Wed, April 9th,  2:30-4 PM  on Zoom
  • Wed, April 23rd, 2:30-4 PM on Zoom
     
    Update: The workshop will be held virtually. Both workshops will cover the same content.
    Choose one date and RSVP here. A Zoom link and Google invite will be sent to all RSVPs.

Target Audience: Case managers (RSP), administrators, ML coordinators
(Note: Substitutes will NOT be provided.)

In this session, participants will:

  • Review the reclassification criteria
  • Discuss how the criteria are applied to students with IEPs
  • Identify accommodations and designated supports for state assessments.
  • Learn how to document accommodations, designated supports, and/or domain exemptions for state assessments on SEIS
