OASIS Employee Announcements

SFUSD is now automatically logging out users after 1 hour of inactivity on the SFUSD website. This change was announced in the March 6 edition of the OASIS newsletter. This security measure helps protect website content, especially when accessed from non-SFUSD computers. If you are editing SFUSD websites, please save your draft pages before stepping away from your desk to prevent any loss of work.

These workshops, designed by Dr. Eric Soto-Shed from Harvard University in collaboration with SFUSD's History-Social Studies/Ethnic Studies Department, will provide ALL middle and high school teachers and site leaders with research-based frameworks and strategies to facilitate meaningful discussions on controversial topics while mitigating potential harm.

Next Generation Personal Finance (NGPF) is offering two incentivized opportunities for SFUSD teachers to learn about the Personal Finance course curriculum.

In this session, teachers will learn how to help students develop the important skill of giving peer feedback.

Ride Muni to School Week Art Contest is extended to April 4. Use the artistic medium of your choice to respond to either or both of the prompts and submit your artwork along with your Challenge Book to the front office of your school. Three winning art submissions will be displayed on the inside of Muni buses citywide, and the winning artists will get a Muni Prize Pack and $50 Blick Gift Card!

PK and OST programs at Early Education and Elementary Schools that will open from March 28-April 4. Note: All sites will be closed on Monday, March 31, for the observation of Cesar Chavez Day.

All TK-13 SFUSD schools will be closed March 28-April 4 for Spring Break, but all PK and School Age OST programs are open during Spring Break (except for March 31). SFUSD offices will remain open March 28-April 4.

Many sites have EpiPen Jrs. (green box) that will expire at the end of March. Please hold onto the EpiPens until you receive a replacement.

Synergy will be offline on Wednesday, March 26th from 6:00 p.m. to Thursday, March 27th at 2:00 a.m. for regularly scheduled monthly maintenance.
