Free Literacy Festival for Elementary School Students (3rd-5th grades) 

3rd-5th graders and their teachers are invited to a free Literacy Festival on Wednesday, Nov. 20. Students will be engaging with "love of reading" themed workshops and programming with Bay Area and California-based authors and artists, ranging from writing and illustrating books, to songwriting and podcasting. 

  • Organizers: Emerson Collective in partnership with the Mayor's Office and San Francisco Public Library

  • Location: San Francisco City Hall 

  • Wednesday, Nov. 20, 11:30 a.m. -1:30 p.m.

Details: Bus transportation provided to and from school upon request; snacks, lunch and books to take home provided to students

How to Sign Up: If you are interested in signing up, please complete this form by Nov. 8. Schools will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis and will hear back from Emerson Collective on Nov. 11.
