A new Affordable Rental Housing project with a preference for SFUSD and City College of San Francisco employees will be accepting applications soon! Located at 750 Golden Gate, Brightwell West will include 75 units of affordable rental housing. We want to ensure that all employees are aware of this exciting opportunity and have the resources they need to submit an application.

Students in grades 1 & 2 who are newly enrolled, not yet screened in previous windows, and who scored at-risk during previous Reading Difficulties Screener administration will be screened April 20-May 13. The Amira platform is set up for ALL students to be assessed in grades K-5 upon their first log in within the window April 20-May 13.

At the beginning of the fall and spring semester, SFUSD reviews all High School students’ transcripts to determine which students are meeting grade level credit requirements and courses that keep them on track toward graduation.

The required Spring 2025-26 administration of the Star interim assessments is scheduled for April 15- May 1 for grades 8-10), and April 20-May 13 for grades K-2. Read to find resources for supporting successful administration/data use during the forthcoming Spring Star administration window.

Celebrate SFUSD Pride month all April by participating district-wide events!

Immunization compliance is required for all students. An exclusion notice will be issued to students in grades TK–12 on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, with a compliance deadline of Tuesday, April 28, 2026.

Monthly automated Truancy letters will be posted to Synergy this Friday, April 10, 2026. Families and schools can ensure that attendance data is correct and complete by following this guidance.
