Announcement Message

I wanted to once again welcome and thank you for a great start to the school year.  We appreciate your open communication with teachers and staff as they continue to reach out to you and touch base over the phone.  These brief conversations allow us to understand and meet each student’s needs as best as we can.  We hope this outreach has been beneficial.  We use information from these calls for continual growth as a staff to evaluate and assess academic and social-emotional programming.

I wanted to let you all know that I will be taking a paternity leave of absence starting Monday, August 31 through Friday, October 2 to spend time with my wife and newborn son.  While I am on leave, Mr. Craig Berger will be the interim principal and Ms. Rowena Tong will be supporting him as a Teacher on Special Assignment.  We have all worked together for several years and the kickoff to this year was a collaborative effort that lends itself to the classroom teacher’s expertise.  I know you are all in good hands.

Please join our Morning Welcome on Friday so I can greet you all for the first time as a whole community for the 2020-21 school year.  We will have a few announcements and start the day with the Pledge of Respect.  We have included the Pledge of Respect on the school’s website so that you can say the pledge together.

I look forward to seeing you all Friday.  Have a great week.  Be Safe, Be Respectful, Be Responsible, and Go Dolphins!
