Dear Lafayette Families,
We hope you had a great week.
We welcomed fall last week and with fall, the days will continue to get shorter and colder. Please make sure to send your children to school with sweatshirts and jackets. Please write your child’s first and last name in anything they will remove so if it is left behind in the yard, we can return it to them. If you are currently missing anything, please look at the lost and found rack under the flagpole. It is more important now than ever to keep our kids protected from the elements.
Please continue to screen your children each day. When students come to the office complaining of COVID like symptoms, we must send them home and they can’t return without a negative COVID test. We need to continue to work together to keep everyone safe. We understand this is still extremely difficult and unpredictable and we thank you for your support.
Please make note that we have a school holiday on October 11 in honor of Indigenous Peoples. There will be no school on that day.
