Flynn School Tours & FAQs

Visiting Flynn Elementary for a Tour Link to this section

Thinking about Flynn for your child? A school tour is a great way to learn more about our programs, see the campus in action, and get a feel for our warm, inclusive community.

We invite prospective families to join us for a morning tour during the school year. Tours are designed for grown-ups, but children are always welcome.

Tour FAQs

  • Will I be able to see inside classrooms?
Yes. Tours include brief classroom visits while instruction is happening.
  • Where is the tour held?
Tours begin in the cafeteria with a short presentation, followed by a guided walk through the campus grounds.
  • Can I bring my child?
Yes. Kids are always welcome to join.
  • Can I take photos during the tour?
No. To protect student privacy, we ask that visitors not take photos. A copy of the presentation will be shared afterward.
  • Will there be a Spanish-speaking guide?
Yes. Just let us know in the sign-up form if you prefer a tour in Spanish.
  • Where do I enter?
Use the Harrison Street gate. A volunteer will be there to greet you and give you a name tag and check you in.
  • What about parking?
Parking around Precita Park is limited due to city construction. We strongly recommend walking, biking, or using public transportation.
