Black History Month at Flynn Link to this section
Black History Month at Flynn! Throughout the month, teachers will be leading classroom activities that uplift Black history and lived experiences through art, media, reading, and writing. Many student projects will be showcased at our family celebration on February 27th.
We hope to find opportunities throughout the month to bring Black brilliance into our school. This Friday, 2nd-5th grade students will hear from local Afrolatino, Sirron Norris, who will share his journey to becoming an artist.
We are always open to parent volunteers who would like to share their culture and experiences with our students—please reach out to Ms. Melissa or your child’s teacher if you’re interested.

February 6th - Noodle Night
You're invited to Flynn Noodle Night - Friday, February 6th 5:00-7:00pm in Flynn cafeteria!
Noodle Night is back! Bring your favorite pasta dish to share OR just come to have dinner with the Flynn community.

March 2nd- March 6th Parent Teacher Conference Week
Parent Teacher Conference Week is the week of March 2nd. Teachers will be sending out schedules for parents to sign up for a conference time.
This is a great opportunity for parents to hear updates on their child's academic and social progress, as well as ask any questions!

The Flynn PTA invites students and families to dive into a day of discovery at our STEAM Discovery Day, where science, technology, engineering, art, and math come alive through fun, hands-on activities.
