As families arrive at 5pm, they should head to their child's classroom. All classrooms will watch Principal Magee's school-wide video at 5:10pm. After the principal's address, teachers will have a classroom specific presentation. This is a chance to learn about the class expectations, schedules, and any resources you may need to be successful this school year.
Families with more than one student: we will make an announcement around 5:35pm to make sure families switch to their other classroom. Teachers are prepared to share the presentation again to accommodate those families with multiple children.
Once presentations are over, families are invited to the East Yard to meet our out of classroom teams! (tabling will be in cafeteria if it is raining) Come meet our teams!

Flynn's Lost & Found

Flynn's Lost & Found is located in the center hallway on the first floor. We have wonderful volunteers that help keep it organized.
Please regularly check the lost & found for your students' belongings. You can also use the link below to see pictures of current items.
It is a best practice to label all your students' items (name & class #)! Items with names can be easily returned to the student.
Once items have been in the lost & found for more than a month, we will donate them to Flynnda's closet or Goodwill.

Come for pizza and community at Precita Park! Hosted by our PTA.

6:00-7:15pm in the Flynn Cafeteria
Join us for the first PTA meeting of the school year! Learn more about the PTA, vote on the final budget and calendar, and explore the different committees you can join to get involved in our school community.

8:00-9:00am in the Flynn Cafeteria
We will have the first English Learner Advisory Committee gathering on September 17th. Join us for breakfast and learn about what ELAC does throughout the year. Key staff will introduce themselves and how they can support you at Flynn.

September 21st - AAPAC (African American Parent Advisory Committee)
5:30-6:30pm in the Flynn Cafeteria
Join us for our "Black to School" event hosted by AAPAC - an evening of information, connection and collaboration as we kick off a new school year!
AAPAC is a space for families of African American and Black students.

Please do not call the school to report an absence.

Please report your child’s absence directly through your ParentVUE account whenever possible.
