Roberto Hernandez, who teaches Fourth and Fifth Grades at Leonard R. Flynn Elementary School, was recognized by by the SFUSD Superintendent and Board of Education as the Special Service Award Winner for January 2018! Here are some quotes about Mr Hernandez's performance at Leonard Flynn: "He teaches them to be excellent learners and also to be thoughtful young people committed to social justice. He does this by motivating each student by his own deep enthusiasm for learning and for doing what is right. My daughter once told me, 'Mr. H. doesn't treat us like little children. He respects us and that makes us want to do even better.'" Congrats Mr. Hernandez!

Ms. Cynthia's Flamenco Performance
Did you know Ms. Cynthia (First Grade teacher) is a Flamenco dancer?
Her dance company, "Theatre Flamenco of San Francisco," will be performing Saturday, Nov. 18 at 7 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. at Carola Zertuche Centro de Arte Flamenco (670 South Van Ness Ave.).
Fantastic Fiesta Latina!
Flynn students had another great performance in the annual Fiesta Latina Tradition! From Juancho Pancho to Somos El Barca and everything in between, it was a great show!
