Technology for Learning

Tech Distribution, Exchange, and Support at VVMS

If you are in need of a Chromebook or hotspot for your student to access learning or if you are experiencing issues with the tech you have received, we will be on campus every Thursday from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm for tech distribution, exchange, and support. More info on how to request a device here. Additionally, SFUSD has recruited tech volunteers to provide personal phone and video support on basic questions about Zoom, Google Meet, Google Classroom, ParentVue, Seesaw and more. Sign up for an appointment here. Help Kids Balance Their Media Lives

from Common Sense Education

"From phones and tablets to streaming movies and YouTube, tech and media are everywhere. Kids love easy access to TV shows, games, and information. Parents and caregivers love that kids can stay in contact while they explore their independence. But it's easy to overdo it when the phone never stops pinging and the next episode plays automatically. Families can keep media and tech use in check by following a few simple practices."
