Dear Leaders,
Dr. Su and the Superintendent’s Fellows are excited to see you all in person at the All Administrators meeting this Wednesday, February 25th, from 3-5:30 pm at Burton HS gym. The Superintendent’s Fellows have been hard at work planning a thoughtful and learning-filled experience for us. To ensure we can start and end on time, please plan to arrive as close to 2:30 as possible, in order to have time to park, sign in and get your name tag, say hi to friends, get a snack and find your seat before we begin promptly at 3:00 pm.
The intention for this meeting is to acknowledge the challenges of this past few weeks and to be in community together as a group of diverse leaders with one purpose – to equitably serve our young people, and to engage in learning together around the common vision, values, goals and guardrails, and what it means to our work.
During the first half of the meeting, we will engage with AJ Crabill, a nationally recognized expert in student-outcomes-focused governance, whose work has helped organizations across the country sharpen their focus on measurable student results through clear vision, values, goals, and guardrails. In the second half of our time (4:30 pm), we will continue our work in Learning Academies centered around leading strong and effective teams in order to achieve our goals. Please notify your supervisor if you have any unavoidable challenges with attendance.
Parking info: Phillip and Sala Burton is located on 400 Mansell St. There are two parking lots, one off Mansell St. and one in the back lot off Olmstead St.
