The District is updating its wireless authentication certificate on Monday, November 25th, 2024 at 6:00 AM.

Synergy will be offline on Sunday, November 24, 2024 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. to Wednesday November 27 at 3:00 a.m.

Explore local resources at the Chinatown Resources Fair on Saturday, Nov. 23, 9:00 am–12:00 pm at Gordon J. Lau Elementary! Open to all, this event brings together community agencies and service providers in healthcare, enrichment, job support, mental health, and more. Come connect with resources for you and your family! Backpacks and study supplies giveaway. Refreshments will be provided!

PK and OST programs at Early Education and Elementary Schools that will open Nov 25-26.

SFUSD schools will be closed Nov. 25-29 for Fall Recess, but some PK and School Age OST programs are open on Nov. 25 and Nov. 26.

The weekly Family Announcements Bulletin (FAB) and OASIS will be on Fall Recess Nov. 28. FAB and OASIS will resume on Dec. 5, 2024.

The Department of Technology will be performing an emergency patch to SFUSD’s Firewalls on Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2024, from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM. While we do not anticipate any interruption to network service during this time frame, we are notifying users out of an abundance of caution.

Special holiday meals are coming to your school this November!

If your school started using meal pins this school year, there's ways you can help students adjust.

The Board of Education will continue to oversee budget-balancing solutions and fiscal stabilization efforts at its regular meetings. Budget and operational updates will continue to be shared transparently.

From Nov. 25 through Nov. 29, Student Nutrition Services will not be serving meals for any sites K-13. Early education sites are still in session on Nov. 25 and Nov. 26 and will have meals as usual.

The Empower Me Academy (EMA) is hosting a skills clinic that is open to everyone K - 8th grade, regardless of skill level. They offer a discount for SFUSD students.

Human Resources is sharing mandated Annual Notifications for all employees. Please read them!

SFUSD Parent Advisory leaders, current and aspiring SFUSD School Site Council (SSC) parent leaders, English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC) parent leaders and other Educational Partners are welcome to join this event to:

1) Learn how the community can engage in and support effective governance to improve student outcomes.
2) Share best practices for effective school community partnership.

The School Meal Program plays a critical role in giving students access to healthy meals, at no cost, all year long. You can help students learn, grow, and stay healthy!

November is National Homeless Youth Awareness Month. Learn what school can do to raise awareness, connect families to resources, and promote McKinney-Vento Act rights.

High School Credit Recovery-Evening/Saturday classes are available for students who need additional credits to earn a high school diploma. Teacher Salary, in accordance with the UESF contract, is $60.77/per hour – approximately 80 extended hours will be paid out over the course of each semester.
