The San Francisco Arts Education Project launches the 30th anniversary of its arts summer camp, SFArtsED Summer. Three sessions (each two weeks) arranged by age and interest. For ages 6-14.

W-2 forms have been processed and mailed on January 29, 2025. Please allow up to 10 working days to receive them via USPS. An electronic copy of your W-2 will also be available on EmPower on February 1, 2025.

At SFUSD we are dedicated to making digital literacy part of literacy in general. With vast amounts of information available online, it's crucial for students to develop the ability to critically evaluate sources, identify misinformation, and discern credible content.

From March 3-7, 2025 there will be a city-wide Ride Contest where students will have the chance to log their rides and complete daily challenges digitally or physically on a Challenge Book provided to schools.

The CRAFT Network is focused on bringing folks together who are interested in maker-education and/or STEAM and equity. The focus for this series of gatherings is to build local connections, create plans for taking action (projects, grants, writing, etc), and start moving our visions forward!

Virtual and In Person Restorative Practices Training Opportunities this Spring!

The Health Services Dept. will be offering centralized training for designated site staff who are supporting students with the following: Asthma, Seizures (emergency medication administration), EpiPen, Narcan.

If you are interested in enrolling in the Classified School Employee Summer Assistance Program (CSESAP) for the 2025-26 school year, please submit the enrollment form on the employee intranet CSESAP page by March 1, 2025. No applications will be accepted after the deadline.

In order to simplify and clarify the online experience for SFUSD employees and job seekers, Human Resources has reorganized its internal- and external-facing websites.

Teaching opportunity for a STEM Academy that engages HS students through a hands-on curriculum to increase awareness of high-demand STEM opportunities.
This consists of 12 hours of PD (3/15-3/16) and a six-day residential camp (3/28-4/2) which you will be compensated for through Extended Hour Pay, amounting to about $2,500.

Originally posted on Feb. 21, 2025: In order to balance our budget and ensure fiscal responsibility, we must reduce our budget by $113 million for the 2025-26 school year. Our escalated state oversight requires that we make significant reductions to meet our financial obligations.
