The Angel Island Immigration Foundation offers guided tours for classes and is inviting teachers from SFUSD to come and experience a tour of the Immigration Station along with a presentation of the many different ways that teachers can experience the island with students including both virtual and in-person field trips.

This spring, the San Francisco Math Circle is offering weekly in-person classes for 2nd-5th grade students at San Francisco State University starting the week of Feb. 24.

At the start of this school year, we announced that the Citywide Youth Arts Festival would be postponed until next year due to budget constraints. We're thrilled to share that, thanks to some amazing community partnerships, The SFUSD Youth Arts Festival will be happening this school year—just in a much smaller, reimagined form.

The California Newcomer Education & Wellbeing (CalNew) project supports SFUSD by offering a series of webinars designed to empower educators and staff in serving newcomer immigrant students. There is one the afternoon of Dec. 12.
