Starting in January 2024 and ending in late March 2024, we are calling on young artists across San Francisco to add art to a collective exhibit celebrating how youth voices are important and must be heard. We are accepting art until Mar. 30.

Please be advised of a formatting issue on 2023 W-2 forms. Box 14 was inadvertently labeled as “Box 14 amount 2” instead of “Union Dues.” This formatting issue does NOT impact the amount paid for union dues. Employees should use the 2023 W-2 that was recently mailed. 

Reminders and resources for teachers and leaders to complete T2 Elementary TK-5 Standards Based Report Cards (SBRC’s) by Feb 26.

BOTVIN LifeSkills Training through helping kids resist drug, alcohol, and tobacco use, the LifeSkills Training Elementary program also effectively supports the reduction of violence and other high-risk behaviors.

A 14-week session seeks to build communication between the parent (or primary caretaker) and the child. Parent and child will each earn a stipend upon completion of the program.

VOLUNTEER at James Lick MS (1220 Noe St, San Francisco, CA 94114) Beautification Day this Saturday, Feb. 10, and you will receive a volunteer recommendation letter and/or Volunteer credit letter for community engagement and support.

The Procurement Department currently has no Purchasers. There is a two-week, or ten business-day, delay in processing purchase orders. We thank you in advance for your patience and understanding. In the meantime, we are in the process of replacing those positions.

ROUND 3: Grades 9-11 Immunization Non-Compliant Exclusion letters must be sent out to families on February 9th! Exclusion Deadline Date is February 26, 2024.

SFUSD is seeking a team of math leaders including PK-8 teachers, resource teachers, site leaders, interventionists and/or coaches and parents. The team will support the review and selection of PK-5 & Middle Math materials for Core/Tier 1 instruction. The team will review 3 different options and go deeper into each resource to determine which will be field tested during a pilot for 24-25.

Monthly automated Truancy letters will be posted to Synergy this Friday [2/9]. Families and schools can ensure that attendance data is correct and complete by following this guidance.
