As you may have noticed, visiting our old website (archive.sfusd.edu) and our old employee site (Sharepoint, or district.sfusd.edu) currently brings up a warning that your connection is not fully secure. This is because archive.sfusd.edu and Sharepoint are so old that they are no longer fully compatible with modern browsers.

SFUSD is pleased to offer a free text messaging service called Ready4Learning for K through 2nd grade families. Ready4Learning sends tips to family members to use with their children. SFUSD is working with ParentPowered to provide this service to SFUSD families.

 The session will focus on making shared reading books virtually with and about your children, their families, their culture, the classroom, and shared interests.

Recology activities, resources, and virtual tours are available for all teachers to provide students with meaningful and fun opportunities to learn about reuse, recycling, and composting. Volunteer drivers are needed to deliver food to students with disabilities and special dietary needs. Drivers pick up and deliver boxes of school meals to student’s homes every Wednesday. Sign up to Drive!

You may be getting requests from service providers to approve their Acceptable Use Agreement and Technology Access Request form (AUP), to obtain a non-employee SFUSD email account. 

 Join for an introduction to Module 2: Stories Connect Us. We will provide an overview to the module and lesson plans, demonstration of instruction, and suggestions for independence and asynchronous instruction.

The District is migrating to a new network authentication system on Tuesday, October 6th at 6am. This change will result in a more stable, robust, and secure wireless experience for those using WiFi at an SFUSD site.

Updated Voluntary Transfer Forms are now available for the 2020-21 school year. New this year, Alternative Schools are accepting students every six-week marking period. The voluntary transfer form is used to help students and families decide which alternative school is the right school for them!

UESF-represented educators (teachers, paraeducators, certificated support staff, etc.) will again have 18 Paid PD Hours for the 20-21 SY. However, the process has changed and is now fully virtual. Please read the new process carefully. 

Designated ELD is a requirement for all students who score below a 4 on the Summative ELPAC. Designated ELD is protected time in the school day for focused language study. Please review what the research says about Designated ELD.

ELPAC scores and recommendations for designated ELD for grades 6-12 can be found on the 2020-21 ELD Placement Data Grades 6-12 Report. Designated ELD is a state requirement during distance learning for all students with an ELPAC summary score below 4.
