SFUSD schools will be closed Dec. 19, 2022 through Jan. 2, 2023 for Winter Break. SFUSD offices will be closed to the public from Dec. 26, 2022 through Jan. 2, 2023. Essential operations will continue.

The weekly Family Announcements Bulletin (FAB) is on Winter Break. OASIS will be on hiatus on Dec. 29. FAB and OASIS will resume on Jan. 5, 2023.

The District is updating its wireless authentication certificate on Thursday, Dec. 22 at 8 p.m. Some users may need to accept a new wireless certificate when connecting to SFUSD WiFi.

The San Francisco Health Service System (SFHSS) administers SFUSD's health and vision benefits. If there is an issue with your health coverage, please call SFHSS Member Services directly at 628-652-4700, press option 1 for benefits questions, then press option 3 for a dedicated SFUSD benefits analyst.

EMPowerSF will be unavailable from Wednesday, Dec. 28 at 11 p.m. until Thursday, Dec. 29 at 8 a.m. for scheduled maintenance. During this window, please do not log in to EMPowerSF. You can use the system as usual after 8 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 29.

Malo e lelei, SFUSD's Native Hawaiian & Pacific Islander Education Student Programs is offering an Introductory Tongan Language Course for SFUSD middle and high school students. We are looking for a certificated staff member to support and monitor the course. You do not need to know Tongan. Certificated staff will be paid approximately 12-18 extended calendar hours.

Come to the Citywide Summer Resource Fair on Feb. 11 to learn more summer camps, classes, programs, and services for K-8 students.

The Educational Placement Center (EPC) offices will be closed from Dec. 26, 2022 to Jan. 2, 2023. The offices will reopen on Jan. 3, 2023.

Please pass this form along to any employees you are aware of whose benefits have been erroneously terminated or changed or for employees who have not been able to enroll in their benefits!

If you are aware of employees who have been struggling to enroll in Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs), please ask them to complete the attached form rather than continuing to attempt to enroll through the WageWorks website. We will manually enroll employees.

The first set of immunization reminder letters were sent to families with students in Grades TK, K, 1, 7 and 8 on Dec. 12, 2022. The letter was only sent to students who are missing immunization records. School sites have all received a tracker to know which students will be receiving reminder letters.

The Student Family School Resource Link will be closed from Dec. 26, 2022 to Jan. 2, 2023. The Resource Link will reopen on Jan. 3, 2023.

Hear information about how SFUSD is supporting Black students' academic and socio-emotional growth, give us feedback on how we can better support our students, and share your opinion at the CCEIS Educational Partners Meetings. The next meeting is Jan. 9, 2023.
