REMINDER CSESAP ENROLLMENT PERIOD ENDING March 1, 2026

The Winter administration window of the state required Reading Difficulties Screener (DIBELS/Lectura for Gr. K & Amira for Gr 1&2) has been extended to Wednesday, February 25. Read to find resources and supports available to facilitate screening.

The timeline for grade K-7 to complete administration of the Star interim assessments has been extended to Wednesday, February 25. Read to find resources for supporting successful administration/data use, and communicating results to families during forthcoming Parent Teacher Conference Week.

The timeline to complete Trimester 2 Standards Based Report Cards (SBRCs) has been extended. Teachers complete SBRCs by February 23, and principals notify DoT by February 25 to post report cards to ParentVue. Teachers use TK-5 SBRC Teacher Guides at bit.ly/SBRCTeacherGuides to support the scoring of report cards, and communicate how students are making progress toward end-of-year standards.

The summer 2026 program dates and sites have been finalized by the Summer Planning Team.

Join Stonestown YMCA for its 8-week Co-Ed Spring Volleyball Clinic and League for grades 3rd-8th, running from April 7th through May 28th.

Strike has ended with a Tentative Agreement between the District and UESF; today is a transition day for UESF employees, other staff report as usual, and Red Rover absence logging reopens at noon with strike-related absences to be processed by the District. You will be able to log absences, including vacation, sick time, and floating holidays from today forward, including for Lunar New Year.

SFUSD has reached a tentative agreement with UESF. All SFUSD schools and work sites are open to staff only on Friday, Feb. 13, 2026 as a transition day. SFUSD schools will reopen to all students and resume normal operations on Wednesday, Feb. 18.
