Music

Instrumental music is offered at CIS for 4th and 5th graders once a week.  Students have the choice to learn violin, flute, or trumpet in specialized classes that focus on building technical facility, aural skills, and musical literacy.  In Ms. Harvey’s music classes, students learn to nurture their creative curiosity and develop skills in composition and performance that translate to all areas of learning and life.
