Smarter Balanced Assessments (SBA) (3-8, 11)

The Smarter Balanced Summative Assessments are administered at the conclusion of each academic year for students in grades 3-8 and 11. The assessment system utilizes computer-adaptive tests and performance tasks that allow students to show what they know and are able to do. The assessments are based on the California Content standards (Common Core State Standards) for English language arts/literacy (ELA) and mathematics.

Testing Date: March 15 - June 2
